Ingredients
1 tbsp mustard
4 tbsp mayonaise
1 tbsp dille, chopped
1 tbsp honey
salt, pepper to taste
1/4 pnd each shredded red and white cabbage
8 slices dark sourdough bread
butter
grated cheese
1/4 pnd pastrami (or more for diner style ;-))
Preparation
Mix mustard, mayo, honey and dille. Bring to taste with salt and pepper. Toss with cabbage.
Spread butter on bread on all sides, sprinkle with cheese and divide pastrami over bread, then divide cabbage and top with other slice of bread.
Roast sandwich in pan on low heat until cheese melts, bread is golden and crisp. Slice and serve with a pickle.
