Recipe for the best Cheese Steak I've had at Steak Escape in San Diego

Ingredients

about 3-4 oz. thinly sliced sirloin
some chopped bell pepper and onion
2 slices of cheddar
some lettuce, jalapenos, olives, etc. what you like but not too much
about a 7" roll, soft opened
some mayo spread on the roll

Preparation

Saute onion and bell pepper until soft, season with salt and pepper.

Saute meat until just about done. Take out pan and slice in small, thin strips. Add to onion and peppers and arrange to bread shape. Layer with cheese and lay on bread to melt the cheese.

When cheese has melted scoop out of pan and put on you favorite toppings like jalapenos, olives, etc.
