Ingredients
1 1/2 pnds pork or chicken breast, cubed
Marinade
3 cloves garlic, minced
5 tbsp sweet soy (ketjap manis)
Ketjap Sauce
5 birdseye chilis
25 roasted unsalted peanuts
1 tsp petis udang (fermented shrimp paste)
3 tbsp roasted palmsugar
1 tbsp oil
5 tbsp ketjap manis
1 lime, squeezed
salt to taste
5 sjalots, finely chopped
Preparation
Mix garlic with ketjap and marinade meat, about 1 hour.
Prepare skewers with meat. Grill over bbq until done.
Prepare sauce by mincing chili, mixing with all other ingredients. Add salt to taste.
Drizzle sauce on skewers and serve with sprinkled fried onions and some sauce on the side.
