Ingredients
1 pnd tuna, one piece
salt to taste
oil
Garlic Miso
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, minced
3 spring onions, chopped
1 tbsp ginger, grated
4 oz. white miso
1/2 cup sake
3 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp soy
Preparation
Heat oil in pan until just smoking, sear tuna on all sides then sprinkle with salt and take out.
Saute garlic, ginger, miso, sake, sugar and soy until it comes together. Then let cool and mix with onion and spring onion.
Slice tuna thinly and layer on plate, leave an opening in the middle and drizzle sauce there.
