RECIPE SALMON STEAKS WITH BASIL SAUCE

Recipe for Salmon from the bbq with basil sauce and roasted small potatoes.

Seafood dishes from France for 4 persons, suitable for on or with a bbq dish, for christmas and other holidays.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt, pepper
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 salmon steaks
  • For potato skewers
  • 16 small potatoes, with skin, brushed
  • 2-3 tbsp oliveoil
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 metal skewers

Preparation

Cook potatoes for 10-15 minutes. Let cool then skewer and brush with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roas over hot bbq for about 15 minutes.

Puree basil with lemon juice, salt, peper and oliveoil and bring to taste with salt and pepper.

Grill salmon, brushed with oil over hot bbq (or in oven) for 4-5 minutes each side or until done.

Serve with basilsauce and potato skewer.
