RECIPE CHOW MEIN WITH CHICKEN

Noodle dishes from China for 4 persons

Ingredients

  • 4 chickenbreasts, sliced
  • 1 bok choy, roughly choppped
  • 1 zucchine/courgette, bitesize pcs
  • 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 6 springonions, sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp fresh shredded ginger
  • 1 cup chickenstock
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tbsp soysauce
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Thin, egg noodles, cooked for 4

Preparation

Mix stock and flour, add wine and soy, mix and set aside.

Heat wok, then add oil, wait until almost smoking. Stir fry garlic and ginger for a few secs. Then add celery, bok choy, mushrooms, stir fry another minute or 2. Take vegetables out and leave. Stir fry chicken strips until done. Add stockmixture and heat until boiling and thickening, add vegetables and heat through.

Serve with noodles.
