RECIPE SPICY CHICKEN WITH HOLY BASIL

Poultry dishes from Thailand for 4 persons

Ingredients

  • 1 pnd chickenbreast, chopped very finely
  • 4-6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2-3 thai sjalots, minced
  • 2 tbsp sweet soy
  • 1-2 tbsp fishsauce
  • some oil to stirfry
  • 1 cup Holy Basil leaves (Bai Gka Prow)
  • 2 kaffir lime leaves
  • 2-3 chilis, chopped
  • 5-10 birdseye chilis, crushed (or to taste)
  • snif of white pepper

Preparation

Heat oil in wok, add garlic and sjalot and fry for a few secs. Add chilis and lime leaves, then sweet soy and fishsauce. Finally stir in basil leaves and take of heat. Sprinkle with some white pepper. Serve with rice.
