RECIPE SEARED TUNA WITH VEGETABLES

Seafood dishes from Japan for 2 persons

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pnd fresh tuna
  • some sesame oil and seeds to rub tuna
  • 1 inch ginger, shredded
  • 5 tbsp soysauce
  • 1 tbsp limejuice
  • 1/2 tsp sesameoil
  • 1/2 red chili, chopped
  • 1 a 2 boc choy, roughly chopped
  • 3 spring onions, chopped
  • 1/4 pnd bean sprouts

Preparation

Mix ginger, soy, sesameoil and chili.

Rub tuna with sesamoil and sprinkle with seeds.

Heat wok until smoking, stir fry boc choy, spring onion and bean sprouts. Take of heat and season with salt and pepper. Divide over 2 plates.

Heat pan until smoking hot, sear tuna on all sides. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Slice thinly and divide over the 2 plates, drape over vegetables. Drizzle with dressing and serve immediately.
