RECIPE ROSEMARY SAUCE

Recipe for rosemary sauce, good with steak and other grilled meat.

Sauces and dressings from France , suitable for on or with a bbq dish, for christmas and other holidays.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp rosemary, chopped
  • 6 oz. shallots, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 2 bayleafs
  • 6 oz. icecold butter, cubed
  • 6 oz. bacon, chopped
  • 3 peppercorns

Preparation

Heat vinegar with garlic, shallots, peppercorns and bayleaf and reduce to half. Add cream and bring to a simmer, add chopped rosemary.

Saute bacon until crisp, add to sauce and warm through. Take of heat and whisk in cold butter, serve immediately!
