RECIPE BASIL DRESSING

Recipe for a typical French Basil Dressing or vinaigrette.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp shallot, minced
  • 2 tbsp, fresh basil, shredded
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • salt, pepper, tabasco to taste

Preparation

Blend all ingredients to a paste in a blender except the oil, add that last to thicken slightly.
