RECIPE THAI MUSSELS

Seafood dishes from Thailand for 2 persons

Ingredients

  • About 4 pnds mussels, cleaned
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh ginger
  • 3 spring onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, choppped
  • 1 chili, chopped
  • fishsauce (nam pla), to taste
  • 1/2 coconut milk
  • splash of ricewine, sherry, mirin or something
  • chilipaste to taste

Preparation

Preheat pan wel, add mussels, on top add springonion, garlic, ginger and chili. Toss, then add milk and ricewine. Toss again.

Add fishsauce to taste and maybe chilipaste.

Wait until mussels are done, when they open up.
