RECIPE SPINACH SALAD HORENSO NO GOMA AE

Vegetable dishes from Japan for 2 persons

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pnd fresh spinach
  • Sesame dressing
  • 2 tbsp sesamseeds
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp soysauce
  • 2 tbsp dashi (japanese fishstock)

Preparation

Prepare dressing by roasting seeds until they start popping. Keep 1 tbsp separate and pound the rest until fine in a mortar. Mix well with the rest of the ingredients.

Prepare spinach by stirfrying until done, drain and keep warm. Drizzle with the dressing and mix wel. Serve with some left over sesame seeds sprinkled on top.
