RECIPE PASTA WITH SPICY TOMATOSAUCE

This Tomatosauce recipe is so tasty, fresh, this cannot be beat by premade stuff!

Pasta dishes from Italy for 4 persons

Ingredients

  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (or more if you like)
  • 8 strips of bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 can of choppped tomatos
  • 1 can of passata
  • 2 tbsp sundried tomatos (in oil) chopped
  • 1 tbsp tabasco
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  • oliveoil
  • 3 tbsp fresh basil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • some parmesan for serving

Preparation

Saute bacon in a few drops of oliveoil until it crispens, take out of pan. Add onions until they softten, add garlic and wine. Scrape bottom of pan so every flavour is in sauce. Then add the rest of the ingredients + the bacon.

Leave to simmer for 1 hour. Bring to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in basil and serve with fresh pasta and maybe some freshly grated parmesan.
