RECIPE SALSA CRUDA

Recipe received from "Dutchess" from California for a mexican 'green' salsa.

Sauces and dressings from Mexico , suitable for on or with a bbq dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 large tomatos, quartered
  • 4 tomatillos, chopped
  • 2-3 chilis, chopped
  • 2 springonions, chopped
  • 1 bunch cilantro/coriander
  • 1 tsp gr. cumin
  • 1 tsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)

Preparation

Chop everything up and mix well, with the lime juice it keeps well refridgerated.

Tips: add a few drops of liquid smoke, add some cooked shrimp.

Serve as a dip with tortilla chips or with raw veggies.
