RECIPE CREAMY JAPANESE EGG SAUCE

Recipe for a sauce used with Teppanyaki dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1 eggyolk
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 cup sunflower oil
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp soy
  • 2 tbsp mirin (sweet wine)
  • 1/3 cup beef stock, non fat

Preparation

Mix yolk, vinegar and half the oil in a blender and blend until thickening. When it thickens add the rest of the oil, mix well.

Put in bowl and mix with sour cream, soy, mirin and stock.
