RECIPE INDIAN CHICKEN

Poultry dishes from India for 4 persons

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken chops, no skin
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 ounce butter
  • 1 onion, choppped
  • 1 tbsp garam massala
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup chickenstock
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • lemonjuice
  • 1/2 cup coconutmilk
  • 2 tbsp cream

Preparation

Heat oil and butter in a large pan. Saute chicken until browned and drain on some papertowels.

Saute onion in remain oil/butter and add garam massala, add flour and saute for 2 minutes. Then add stock, garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Leave to simmer for a few minutes. Add lemonjuice and coconutmilk to taste.

Add chicken to pan and leave to simmer for 30-40 mins.

Just before serving stir in cream.

Serve with rice.
