RECIPE CARROT CAKE

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 pnd sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • about 2 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinamon
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • about 3 cups grated carrot
  • 1/4 pnd chopped walnuts, pecans, what you like
  • Frosting
  • 16 oz. cream cheese
  • 5 cups confectioner's sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract

Preparation

Mix oil and sugar, add eggs and whisk well. Then add all other dry ingredients and mix well. Finally add carrots and nuts and combine.

Bake in oven at 150C/300F for about 50-60 minutes in a loaf oven dish.

Frosting
Whisk cheese until fluffy, then gradually add sugar and vanilla.

Wait to frost cake until its completely cooled!
